Dallas is one of 9 U.S. Skating Rink at the Galleria, Dallas We absolutely love a visit to the Dallas Galleria each December when the Christmas Tree is lit up and skaters can make their way around the beautiful tree!Ĭhristmas in the Square at Frisco Square, Frisco The square is lit with the largest choreographed light show in North Texas, and skaters can skate on the outdoor rink. Grapevine Ice Rink, Grapevine A new addition to the Christmas Capital of Texas this Holiday Season is a huge, outdoor ice rink in Historic Downtown Grapevine! We haven’t been yet, but this will be one of our first things to do when my older kids get home for Christmas break! The 4,500 square foot rink will open on November 18 – January 8! We enjoyed dinner on the huge patio at Smoky Rose, right across the street from the Arboretum! Really as wonderful during the day as in the evenings, each offers a different experience. We started playing Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and Jingle Bells, so you know the holidays can’t be more than 3-4 months away! There are so many things to do and see in the few short weeks of December, and it’s never too early to start planning for the events you just can’t miss!
